The submission deadline for Chicago IRL is June 15th! Crap, that’s tomorrow! Consider this a fire being lit under your ass. We may be able to offer individual extensions, but we need to start getting this issue put together ASAP, so call now and let us know if we should wait up for you!   We already have a ton of great things to consider, but we want your short stories, photos, comics, poetry, illustrations, essays, and oh so much more too! Was this Chicago? Was it all awesome gays, video games and home cooked meals? I’d been in the city for less than four hours and I already felt jealous of what my life could be here.
That’s the opening paragraph of my Chicago IRL submission. I’m excited I was able to do it, since I’ve actually only been to Chicago once, and that it’s finally done. (via pioneerman)
